NM is a great place to shop with great brands, sales that are reasonable and usually very helpful customer service personnel. When inquiring as to where an order is at that was placed 14 days ago, the agent I encountered tonight blatantly lied and caused a lost customer. I get it, no one cares about the 1 person that doesnt spend thousands and thousands each year. But to outright lie and try to blame FedEx, that was a new low. I don't mind being told it was late being shipped, but the agent said
"Thanks for your patience, the last order I see to be deliver Is the Peter Millar Men's Dunbritton Summer Cotton Sport Shirt, they are at the moment on the Fedex truck on their way to your home. The max arrival date on this item Is for January 16th 2023. I will advice to wait this time frame since the shipping service Fedex are in high season are they are taking a more time to deliver the orders."
I placed an order for 5 shirts. 4 were received January 6th (with 2-day shipping service I requested). The 5th just shipped today and the rep blamed FedEx. Rest of transcript is here:

CSR: Yes they were ship today January 12th 2023. Just now its on the Fedex truck.
I realize this isn't the CSR's problem, but being truthful and ethical is a hallmark of any long standing business.

I ordered YSL wallets for Christmas presents on Dec19th with over night shipping, and my order stayed on process status until today, January 6th! There's no updates, no notifications, I finally hit cancel! I directly went to YSL website and ordered directly from them, it arrived the next day! Don't bother shopping your designer items from them, go directly to the specific brand boutique! Neiman Marcus is the most unorganized and unreliable ever! Customer service is useless and they do not have any solutions to my order that has been sitting in line for shipment for almost 3 weeks!
I ordered a YSL purse on December 21st online. As of December 28th my order has not been shipped. I contacted CS on December 28th and was told i would receive my item on January 5th.I noticed on January 4th my order has not shipped so i called and canceled my order and was told it would take up to 3 days for my account to be credited. On January 5th i received an email stating i will receive my item on January 10th. I called CS and spoke to Tanya and she stated that my order couldn't be canceled because it was in process of shipping.BS lie if i canceled 3 days ago why is it in the process of shipping and it's still in the warehouse why can't i cancel. They do not have this item in stock. Just admit it
Ordered high end perfume from them that I've ordered from the maker's website and other dept store (Nordstrom) and Sephora in the past. From Nieman Marcus I received open box, insert packaging missing and makeshift tissue crammed into it's place inside. Obviously this was an open, used/returned/sample? Item I was sent at full price. Disgusted. Will not be a return customer.
I used Neiman Marcus to shop for a "luxury" handbag for the first time. Let's say this is not what I was expecting. I made an online order for pick up on December 18th 2022. It is now January 3rd of the NEW YEAR, and still no word on what's going on with my package. Every single time without fail when I reach out to customer support via text through their website, or over the phone, I keep getting told the same thing, "It will be shipped the next day" and guess what? The item never does! This is the most frustrating experience I've had and I'm a first time buyer. I was really hoping for much speedier shipping times. Going on 3 weeks and I'm just hoping that it will be shipped soon. This is just ridiculous. Why won't they call another NM who has what I ordered and have THEM ship it out instead of inconveniencing the customer to cancel their order, wait for a refund and re-order. I'll update to let you know if I EVER receive my package. So far, I do not recommend.
My mother tried to place an order today on their website. The credit card on her account was out of date and she tried to update and was not able to. So she called customer service, spent over an hour on the phone with multiple people and no one could figure out how to deal with the situation. Ultimately she hung up in frustration. So they lost a significant sale.
I ordered an over $10,000 bed in June 2022 from them. In November, I was told the bed was being shipped to me. On 12.9.22 the bed was delivered to me WITHOUT the headboard, footboard and side rails. How multiple companies (Neiman Marcus, Bernhardt and Sun delivery) review a order and no one notice THERE IS NO BED is beyond me. I still have yet to receive my bed. Smh
January 2,2023: It was supposed to be delivered today between 8am-8pm. I take off work, make the appropriate arrangements, stay at home all day only for them to say can they come later at night. No, we agreed on between 8 and 8. I have other obligations and besides I don't feel comfortable having two strange men in my house this late. Why can't you deliver during the time we agreed upon seeing how long I've been waiting. You can't come during a 12 hour window? I've sent numerous emails requested a supervisor to call me and heard nothing. It's pathetic!
They mixed my order. I sent their product back and now been waiting for the refund more than three weeks and yet nothing. It's very difficult to talk to customer service; if you call, they give promises, but then never deliver, if you use chat, you wait for the next available agent an hour and more. Stay away from this company.
I ordered online and it has been over a month and I still have not received my shipment. When call customer service you are on hold for 20-30 minutes. They out source the customer service so someone from a foreign country will answer. When you get in touch they do not have any information and cannot help you. They ask to place you on hold to get their manager and you have to wait another 30 minutes. They also purposely disconnect you and you have to call again and start the process again. They are the worst to deal with. I still have no answers and do not know when I will get my shipment. They do not care and they outsource everything. Horrible and will never do business with them again.
Love this duo Tom Ford did great with this contour, gives the right shade, glides on so smooth. Im truly grateful I got to try this product for free through influster.
I ordered a belt on thier site and at first the price matched with Saks Fifth Ave. After 2 days the canceled the order without even letting me know. I called up and spoke to them and they told me that it was in fact not the same belt which a lie as just before they said it was. The Rep even opened up both matched side by side and saw it was the same but lied and said theirs is different. I am extremely upset with customer service there is a saying that everyone knows the customer is right. I will never ever order anything for Nieman Marcus again.

I wanted to return a foundation by Bobbi brown because I bought online and it didn't match my color - I live in Ohio we have a Neiman Marcus I believe in Columbu- I live in Lorain- 2.5 hours away. I knew I would be out of town to Birmingham and Tampa and figured I would return/swap it to a different color then but it was thanksgiving week so I didn't really have time to go to the store, I later knew I was coming to Phoenix so I knew there was a NM store here, but apon arrival, I wasn't greeted or no one tried to help, so I continued to select the color I'd like to swap, and asked for assistance but the lady behind the counter said to go somewhere else as she was checking someone else out, I did and Jody claimed I used the foundation, I know I didn't because it wasn't my color, so she said she'd get the manager. Manager was rude and blatantly said I used it it can't be returned or swapped- I said I didn't use it then she looked at the date when purchased- then that was her other excuse. It was 2 days over purchased from 30 days. Smart mouth said well you could have mailed it back! I wish I knew her name but I didn't get it. It was on December 19th approx 3:30 at fashion square NM! No class at all from any of the workers in the makeup department
I ordered several items for Xmas presents from Neiman Marcus with plenty of time for delivery, but paid for expedited anyway, it is December 22nd and I have received not of them. I have tried to call, but have been disconnected 4 times after long waits. They use to be a very high end store, sadly they are no longer!
11/24 order was placed, was supposed to have arrived by 12/06 just not sure if they meant 2022 or 2025, they keep changing the dates after talking, texting and chatting with multiple CS reps. Now I received an email of how sorry they are and that there are delays and here's a 15% percent discount till 1/16/2023 to shop online, that's some sort of sick joke as I do not see myself receiving my regular order before that date.
Just go do the lines the shipping is a joke...

I ordered something from Neiman on 11/26. I realize it's the holiday season, so I wasn't expecting my item to come super fast. We are now at 12/14 and I still have not received the item. I have talked with their CS team multiple times and have basically been lied to every time. I was first told the item would arrive on 12/7. Well, that came and went. I was next told 12/10, then 12/13, then I was told that it would ship on 12/14 and arrive on 12/15. It's 4 p.m. East Coast time and my item still hasn't shipped, so I contacted them again and was told it would arrive 12/16. I have repeatedly told the CS team that I keep getting told different days every time I write. One lady even told me that the dates were just estimates. Ok, but they keep changing them. Why not just tell me you have no idea? To make matters worse, according to their website, I could place the order again today and have it delivered with free 2-day shipping. If that's the case, where is my order? Their CS team sucks and so does their shipping. I will never order from here again. Never!
This review is for the customer service I just received from an online supervisor with the 800 customer service number. I placed two separate orders, one on Nov 23 for one item and one on Nov 25 for two separate items. Today is Dec 6 and I just received one of the items from the Nov 25 order. The other item from the Nov 25 order shows "in process" and the item from the Nov 23 order shows "in process." I called to find out what is happening with the orders and the customer service agent couldn't offer any information, so I asked for a supervisor, who also couldn't offer any info other than "we are experiencing delays." One of the items says right on my order that it is shipping from Orlando, so I called the Orlando store and they have the item in stock, but this supervisor says it cannot ship from the store and has to ship from the warehouse in my state, Florida, and she cannot promise when it will ship or when I will receive it. I the asked to cancel both items, which she advised that she would send an email requesting to cancel, but couldn't promise the orders would be canceled, either, which both have been charged to my card. So I am paying for orders that I may never receive, or I may receive at some point, but who knows when? The company selling the items can't tell me, but they won't cancel the orders and I have to pay for them?
Neiman Marcus used to be a wonderful store that sold the best merchandise in a way that made you feel special, now Walmart's customer service treats you better.
No more Neiman Marcus for me. This was the final bad experience I will pay for.
They take entirely too long to ship your items. They are always sorry, but will not fix the issue. There's no way it should take them almost two weeks to ship an item.
Answer: The y claim to expedite shipping then dont. They steal l and can't be trusted
