The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from poor customer service and technical issues. Many customers report difficulties accessing their accounts, long hold times, and inadequate support for ticket-related problems. Concerns about cybersecurity and the inability to transfer or resell tickets exacerbate frustrations. Conversely, some positive feedback highlights an easy-to-navigate website and helpful customer service representatives who resolve issues when contacted. Overall, while the company offers a wide selection of tickets, its customer service and technical reliability require substantial improvement to enhance user experience and trust.

Tried on my account and created 2nd account to buy tickets. Wasted over 30 minutes, No call backs after leaving messages. Called multiple times. Should be talk about 40% fee on tickets. I hate dealing with company every time and finally leaving a review on it.
Worst experience with ticket master. We got the wrong tickets and they will not refund us even though it was their mistake in the first place. They make it impossible for you to refund any sort of tickets even when it is not your fault. I am disputing the charges on my card though due to the fact that they never gave us what we ordered. If possible try not to ever go through ticket master.
Bought tickets to a Nov 18 concert. Concert was postponed. Ticketmaster sent an email that refunds would be made after 60 days if concert wasn't rescheduled. It has been 60 days and there has been no announcement of another concert date. Ticketmaster refuses to refund, which is a violation of the terms established in their email. I am taking it up with my credit card company. IMHO, Ticketmaster is a criminal enterprise.
Tried to buy tickets today w/a presale code. The ticketmaster website wouldnt let me buy tickets so I called customer service. I explained I was in the process of trying to buy tickets but the site wont let me! They hemhawed around making me try different things like signing in and out and trying incognito mode to try to get their site to work! Nothing worked! They finally told me that pre sale was over! Whick was an absolute F**cing lie! Ticketmaster then just told me to go back on the sale day. WHAT F**cing good is that? Worthless scumbags
I got a gift card only to find out that these morons only allow you to use it for certain events…. They even told me that my gift card might not be refundable…. I've been in sales for 15 years and I've never had a company tell me hey sorry we can't give you a refund. These people are scam artists and I will never ever ever be buying any tickets from them again. Do not be fooled by them. This is absurd and they deserve to hear about it! Ticket you are scam artists! Great job.
Platform is garbage and doesn't make things right when there's a mistake! Absolutely garbage! Also don't buy the insurance they provide! Doesn't cover much and then proving it is impossible!
I recently attempted to cancel a ticket purchase for a concert scheduled for the end of March, realizing my mistake within five minutes of buying - I ALREADY HAVE TICKETS! So now I have duplicate tickets and a lot of money to pay. Despite the event being more than three months away, Ticketmaster's strict no-cancellation policy left me unable to rectify the error. This lack of flexibility and understanding for such a timely regrettable purchase was disheartening. I hope Ticketmaster reconsiders their cancellation policy to accommodate genuine mistakes made promptly after purchase. Customer service should be more accommodating, especially for events so far in the future."
TICKETMASTER purchases tickets at times from 3rd party vendors. It is impossible to get a refund if a venue has been POSTPONED...Even tho the performers are not available at the time of your purchase and venue date, they indicate "postponed" and refuse to refund your money as it is not a CANCELLED event. Also, no where on your ticket does it indicate any vendor except Ticketmaster and the 3rd party vendors will screw indicating "postponed" instead of cancelled so you can't get your money back. Never again!
Be very aware!
If you buy the tickets and yu go to the venue or concert everything will be perfect.
But if you dare to sell the tickets because you cannot go to the venue, they will retain the money for about a month and most of the time they will allow you to resell the tickets for a 10% of the price.
And they usually propose you and encourage you to pay for the insurance (Alliance). That is all a lie, when you try to claim your money back there is a limit amount to refund and they will ask you only specific reasons to get your money back and. Prepare to provide tons of documentations. Be aware, never buy Insurance for ticketmaster tickets. Never!
I was literally having a conversation with an agent who just randomly stopped replying to me out of nowhere when I was just trying to upgrade my ticket. That was literally the last good seat in that section, and they ruined my chance of getting it. Just terrible. Whoever came up with chatting via text and not telephone for customer service really dropped the ball. Just inconsiderate. This is my very first concert. What a distasteful experience to be welcomed to. Thank you for nothing, Ticketmaster.
I have never experienced such a bad customer service in my whole life. Such a business does not deserve to exist. Between the lies, the inconsistent answers, the empty canned responses, the interrupted calls... The staff openly lied/gave me wrong information, leading me to purchasing more tickets than I actually wanted. I honestly think that their staff is instructed to use shady tactics to extort customer's money. For several week in a row, they have tortured me psychologically. NEVER use Ticketmaster
I bought $ 5,400.00 worth of tickets to the Eric Clapton Crossroads concert in LA in September 2023. These tickets were bought directly from Ticketmaster. As the event date got closer, I realized that Ticketmasters dynamic pricing approach resulted in them having lots of unsold tickets available, which they couldn't get rid of. A day or 2 prior to the event they dropped the pricing of a $ 1,500.00 ticket to $ 200.00. At the same time I was trying to re-sell my tickets on the Ticketmaster site (4 seats -$ 5,400.00-bought on the day Ticketmaster made these tickets available, 6 months or so before the event date).
So here is my "rub". I tried to MATCH Ticketmasters ticket pricing with seats Ticketmaster had available literally just next to that of my seats. Ticketmaster listed for $ 200.00 but denied my listing for same price, and rather locked me out of selling since they required for me to list my tickets at a minimum re-sale value of $ 1,200.01 per ticket. This of course so that their tickets could sell first. This effectively prevented me from selling my tickets through Ticketmaster, and Stubhub etc. was not an option since TICKETMASTER were selling steeply discounted tickets on their site. I am not bitter for losing the $ 5,400.00, but I do think it is wrong that Ticketmaster sets a minimum re-sale price for my tickets which was 600% HIGHER than what THEY themselves listed practically the same tickets for. I tried for months to communicate this with Ticketmaster and all of the responses I received were "form" replies and probably from a robot. So, be aware that if you try to resell your tickets on Ticketmaster, they will not allow you to re-list these at a price set by you, they decide the minimum price point for you tickets, In my communications with them they had some excuses as to the fact that Ticketmaster doesnt decide the pricing, but the event organizer does, Well, Live Nation, which Ticketmaster is a subsidiary of, does - so same thing. As you may be aware of, Ticketmaster is in hot water with the US Senate in regards to their ticket practices, so please be aware.
I absolutely detested my Ticketmaster experience -- to the point that from now on I will forego attending any event for which Ticketmaster is the sole ticket source. Ticketmaster offers no alternative to a digital ticket, and issued me a digital ticket without offering me any options or securing my consent; apparently, the mere fact that I provided a cellphone number sufficed as far as you were concerned. You provided no opportunity to indicate a preference for digital or printed, and you did NOT secure my consent. I needed a printed ticket because I was giving the tickets as a gift to people who did not use a cellphone; a digital ticket would leave me no option but to lend those folks my phone, and I need the phone at all times as I am caregiver for a very sick husband. Or -- as was suggested -- I could accompany the recipients downtown, park and accompany them to the venue just to get the digital tickets scanned -- an insane proposition, as I am a disabled senior citizen, and this is Winnipeg in December. With Ticketmaster, it is impossible to get to talk to a human being -- you have replaced customer service staff with chatbots. I contacted your "help line" and explained my problem to the chat-bot in an extensive "conversation" -- but of course a chat bot can only address a limited number of pre-programmed concerns, and beyond that offer polite platitudes. There is no point complaining; it goes nowhere. This is very convenient for Ticketmaster; after customers have exhausted the chatbot's repertoire, they have no choice but to give up in frustration and helpless anger. This practice of yours ensures that Ticketmaster never need deal with a human situation, employ any flexibility or compassion, or ultimately take responsibility for anything. Your set-up serves your own interest only, and is thoroughly detestable -- and you can be sure that I will share my experience with everyone I know.
Downloaded TM app. (Note: I'm elderly and attempting to use my new smartphone)
Purchased 4 ADA tickets on my cc. Realized since we are no longer in our wheelchairs, our walking canes do not count as ADA.
Called their CS for help. Had Great difficulty understanding them! Took 4 CS calls to complete "how to sell my tickets". TM sold my tickets for MORE than I requested but refund would be what I asked for. Had to supply them with my checking bank info because they would not put my refund on the card I originally used. Today, I received $0.59 cents deposited into my bank account.
I ordered tickets to a concert in August. They said they'd mail the tickets and I'd have them within 10-14 days. It's now December 7 (7 days away from the concert date), but still no tickets. They haven't mailed them (if they did, I got no confirmation email), and customer service won't answer or help unless it's 2 days before the event. Looks like I'll be screwed on $800 worth of tickets...
They charge you a service fee, then to sell them they are charging the new buyer the same fee I paid so they are double dipping, they refuse to do or say a thing but send a page to their policy where again they try to cover the scam, Do not use
An employee names John ext 107 scammed and stole my money, making me buying an amount of apple card in order to perform the transaction.
My son purchased tickets for an event at $484. Our travel plans changed so I called 4 weeks before the event to exchange them and was told since they were on his Ticketmaster account I needed them transferred to my account - so he transferred them to me. (1 hour of phone time) When I called to exchange them another representative advised they had to be transferred back to the original purchaser's account, so I transferred them back (1 hour of phone time). When I called back to exchange them I was told that they could not be exchanged for a different night - just different seats for the same night - WHY WASN'T I TOLD THAT TO BEGIN WITH? I was then told I had to contact the venue to get approval to exchange them for a different night. (1 more hour on the phone). I contacted the box office and they sent an email to get Ticketmaster to exchange them. TM didn't. I called the venue again and they again sent an email requesting an exchange. TM didn't. I finally had to spend another $484 for new tickets and was going to transfer the original ones to a friend who would be able to use them. THEN I COULDN'T TRANSFER THEM and was told to contact the box office AGAIN. Box office could do nothing and Ticketmaster still would not let me transfer so I am out $484 for absolutely NOTHING. I ALSO WASTED OVER 5 HOURS ON THE PHONE for NOTHING. I will never buy tickets through TM again. I will go with another service or direct to the box office. Wasted so much of my time and I am out $484.
I purchased tickets from Ticket master for an event I was very eager to see. The Ticket Master site had three incidents. The first it kicked me out because I was taking too long. I had to reenter my password and it looked as I was to continue from were I had last left off. The other two times it did this there was no apparent fault on my side m, it looked as if there was a glitch on the system. The sitting availability had changed and I had to change my sitting option, during these glitches I had already picked my desired date to attend. At no point did it ever request I change or renter the day I wanted to attend. I finished my transaction and when I checked to see my tickets I noticed the error. The date on my tickets were for the same day and the performance was only an hour and a half away. I immediately looked to inform Ticket Master and all I got was the run around. I am now down for the price of two tickets and was unable to attend the event: I will never do business with Ticket Master again.
Bought tickets, they never sent it to my email trued talking to someone is close to impossible only emails. The answer I got is go to the location where the show is and get your tickets at the counter...$300 and this. Seriously.
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
